Tool and pipeline development for a animation feature film teaser production.
I joined the production team as an Pipeline Technical Director. I helped pushing the existing pipeline forward by adding features like:
- Offline Alembic caching
- Scene management tools
- Yeti cache handling tools
- Video conversion shell scripts
Additionally, I developed a animatable pose-space deformation tool to support the animation team with on-the-fly blendeshape creation during the animation process. This workflow helped the creation of high level animations as well supporting the cartoon style required by the production a lot.
